Sometimes, You Get What You Deserve

I know many of you were outraged when Top Bitch Of The Earth Lori Drew admitted to the malicious online torture of a 13 year old girl, Megan Meier in a phony MySpace account. Drew posed as a 16-year old boy Josh, who at first befriended the girl and then turned on her by telling her "the world would be better off without her". Meier later committed suicide by hanging herself.

Today, it was announced that Lori Drew was indicted on charges of conspiracy and accessing protected computers to obtain information to inflict emotional distress. Drew faces up to 20 years in prison.

Let me be the first to say GOOD. I hope you get all 20 and find it so fucking miserable, you hang yourself in jail. Because Lori Drew, THE WORLD WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU.

AMEN!!!!!

Okay, you've gotten me on a roll, so sit back 'cause I'm gonna vent.

Crap like this gets me SO Angry! It's bad enough with all the crap the school-age girls have to go thru with each other. But then when you see the parents, (mostly the mom's) it all makes perfect sense. You just want to shake them and say WTF? Do you not see the crap your kid is doing, and the misery tey are causing? But then you realize that they DO see and actually get off on it. Some kind of power or I don't even know what.

I'm mad and my mind is racing and I'm probably rambling. But just wait, if this stuff hasn't started yet with Miss Thing, be grateful, but I'm sorry to say this, it's right around the corner. Girl Drama sucks and its not for wimps.

Like you, I hope that mother rots in hell. (And no, I DO NOT feel bad about saying that.

(I kind of feel all paranoid now about leaving comments on your blog. I hope someone doesn't come along and get offended by what I said. If they do, I will come back and delete it, okay? :)

Lana -

First off - I don't censor here - you say whatever is on your mind. Second - the nice bloggers who come here pretty much know I am often offensive and ALWAYS speak my mind - so, you need not worry AT ALL. Third - I think you are right.

Lana, let me say I'm WITH you.

I saw this story on a muted TV at the gym last night, and I couldn't get all the details, but you filled in the gaps for me.

Would anyone mind if I just kept my baby girl in a bubble until she's 36 or so?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

I saw that- and thought the same!

As a HS teacher, I cannot fathom an adult being so childish, not at all.

I wish that Drew creature has the book thrown at her. I'm disgusted that she's only looking at 20 years. I don't care what Megan Meier did, she didn't deserve to have a supposed adult doing that to her.
I agree with Lana, the girls these days are so nasty to each other, and the Moms do very little. A friend of mine had to go to the school about her first grade daughter being bullied in a "You're not my friend today" sort of way.I hear stories like this and thank The Powers That Be that I had boys. The bullying is still there, it just takes a different form.

Count me in on the "glad to see something is being done about it". It is time that parents who can't let go of their own childhoods learn a lesson here. We are told that the Drew's have lost jobs and friends...well Meghan's family lost everything. This whole story made me, and continues to make me, sick.
